I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at Nile University in Cairo. My research sits at the intersection of Classical Political Economy and Inclusive Development, with a focus on income distribution, economic resilience, and the political economy of the Middle East.

I hold a Ph.D. from the New School for Social Research (2014), where my dissertation on the Vast Majority Income received the University Distinguished Dissertation Award.
